Hi folks,
Reaching out for help in case I'm missing anything obvious.
I'm using the "Query CRM data" step within a dialog to present the users with a list of CRM products, allowing them to make a selection. I am then trying to set their selection in a lookup to the product entity which lives on a custom entity.
I've worked with these dialogs for years and don't usually have a problem performing this kind of action as the entity ID is available when populating the destination lookup when creating or updating the new record.
With the product entity though I don't get productid for that product only the parentproductid "Parent"
Looking at the XML for the query in the query details I can see that unusually the productid doesn't feature in the list of attributes as it does for the majority of other standard and custom entities.
I've tried Editing the columns to include all of them, but alas it's not there and I can't manually edit the FetchXML so am running out of ideas.
I can achieve what I need to by using a lookup in the dialog for a user to select the product but I want to present the users with a filtered list based on pricelists.
This is CRM2015 update 1 on-premises.
Any ideas anyone or is it just another one of those annoying limitations you come up against when working with the native invoicing/product functionality?
Many Thanks
Alex
