project budget in beginning balance transaction

hi expert,

I activated "use budget control" in Project parameter. and also created Project budget in each project Masters.

I'm entering "beginning balance" journal, when i posted, i saw the result was effecting project balance amount (all project>>control tab>>Project budget balance), my question is,  is there any way once entering beginning balance transaction without effecting project budget amount ?

    Hi Agus Setiawan,

    One 'trick' is to record the beginning balance journal first and once that is done to activate / make use of the budget feature.

    If you follow this process, the beginning balance transactions won't eat up your budget.

    just make sure :

    1. I do beginning balance first

    2, then, i activate "use budget control"

    is that what you mean ?
