We just got a new Dell Vostro 3500 laptop for a new sales rep we hired. It came with Window 7 Professional 32-bit
All our PC computer on the network (all Dells running Vista Businsess) are running Dynamics GP off our Server (running SBS 2005 - and SQL 2005).
Can we add this new computer to our network, and will it run Dynamics GP 9.0 ?

We have seen no problems running GP 9.0 on Windows 7, however a few recommendations:
1. Perform the installation as the local/built-in administrator (not simply a user in the local admin group or a domain admin).
2. Install outside of Program Files (this is not a requirement, but I have found it to be more reliable).
3. Prior to installing any GP service packs, install SP 1 for .NET Framework 1.1.
You can see more information on this on David Musgrave's blog. Also, while there are many people running GP 9.0 on Windows 7 without problems, you should be aware that GP 9.0 is not officially supported by Microsoft on Windows 7.
