Upgrade Dynamics WEB to Unified Interface.

Hello Experts

I want to upgrade Dynamics WEB to Unified Interface, I have one Production and one Sandbox environment. My Sandbox is updated to Version 9 Unified Interface but my production environment is still Web. Now I want to upgrade my production to Version 9 Unified Interface, What is the best way to achieve this goal by keeping myself safe along the path.

It is easier on Online but for on-premises you have to make some extra steps and efforts.

- If you have Virtual Environments for Production just take snapshots, PROD DB Backup or Clone VM's before Upgrading.

- The supported way is to have a fresh installation on the servers. Once you have the server ready, you can then take a Prod DB back up, restore it on the new server and then import organization in deployment manager "take it Offline"

You should make a best plan for revert in case of any failure without any delay.

for Production Environment, I would also suggest you to create a support ticket with Microsoft DSE Technical support and he can assist you in best way.
