How can I get users to accept their Dynamics CRM invitation on their desktops?

I added users and sent out an invitations to my coworkers to join Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, however when they attempt to login from their computers, they receive an error message prompting them that if they want to access Dynamics from a mobile device, they must first accept the invitation from a desktop computer. They are on their desktops. Is this an issue with the setup on the CRM tool?

Can you please send an invitalation on mohammadaatif@hotmail.com i will see if i am getting this error message while accepting the invitalation or not.

Please note : You need to add a test account and once it is created for your CRM online organization there is no option within crm to delete the user accoutn, you can only desable that account.

    Thanks,

    Mohammad

The link worked successfully in IE. Is Dynamics not compatible with Firefox or Chrome?

    Requirement:

Device browser must support HTML 4.0 or newer and JavaScript

As of 3/2011 here are some of the supported devices

WP7, Other Windows Mobile Versions, Palm WebOS, Nokia, Android, Apple, Blackberry

    On Premise

IFD needs to be enabled (for mobile access outside of your internal network)

Mobile Express needs to be installed on IFD CRM Server (included in 2011, and post UR5 for v4)

    To Access:

    On Premise: https://<CRM_server>/m

    http://<CRM_Server>/orgname/m

    Online: https://org.crm.dynamics.com/m

    Josh,

    Not yet.

There is an update coming up in April that will include compatibility with those browsers but at the moment on IE is supported.

Is everything ok once the log in via the link I provided?

    Hi:

I'm not sure if this is the same situation as I had but I wanted to get a clarification from Gus.

I received an invitation from a CRM Online Organization and when I tried to accept it using my Windows Phone (Internet Explorer...  a new Nokia Lumia 900) I got an error that said:

"To access Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online from your mobile device, you must first accept this invitation from a Web browser on your desktop computer".

This is a change from prior behavior -- I've accepted invitations from other CRM Online Orgs using a Samsung Focus Windows Phone with Internet Explorer and it worked fine,  This seems like a bug -- OR -- the "fix" that Gus mentions "coming in April" is actually not a fix, but a break.  When I used a desktop PC to accept the invitation, it worked fine but not on my Windows Phone.

Does anyone else have experience with this?

    Thanks,

    Lon
