Even though pjtran records are being created the summary tables are not being updated and one of the specific ones I'm looking at (pjactsum) is not getting updated. I realize if I run PMA Integrity check this will take care of this when I roll thru each of the periods that need to be updated. Is there a setting somewhere that can automatically update these summary tables?

Are you allowing the system to post backwards to a previous fiscal year, the transactions will come into PJtran, but the summary tables will not be updated.
What is creating pjtran records? If it is a standard SL screen - I have never seen that before - I would create a new demo system and application database and then compare the indexes on pjactsum.
If you are inserting the records from a custom SDK built app or a web page or something. It is on you to update the summary tables. First test that the record exists then do an insert or update.
