Add stock item to service contract

Hi,

How to add a normal stock item to a service contract?

I want to add the stock item to a service contract because I know i´m going to use it in every service?

Is the only way to get consumption items on the service order (created from a service contract) to add them manually on the service lines?

This doesn´t make sense as we have several consumption items to every service item on every service order, this generates a lot of manually work:-(

Please help:-)

    Hi Aaberg,

What Understand from Microsoft Learn there is a option to auto create Service Item. When you Post shipment with Item and if you select service item group on that item then system will autom create Service item of that shipped item. Please check below notes. Also please check below Microsoft Learn document.

    H Zhu,

It´s not completely what I´m seeking.

As the funktion I´m looking for is more a funktion inside the service module.

kind of an import component list funktion.

Hi, I think you can import using the Configuration Package feature.
Or just paste directly from Excel.
