Excel Reports in GP2010 R2 - Duplicate reports showing

Posted on by 160

We have deployed the Excel Reports in a test GP2010 R2 environment on a Network Server.  After the deployment, we have both the Data connections folder and the Reports folder in the same "Excel Reports" parent folder.  The challenge I have is now when I view the reports list from the GP application, I am seeing the reports listed twice.  One is from the reports folder and the other is from the data connections folder.  How can I remove the data connections from displaying?

    Hi Kent,

You can customize the navigation list to apply filter to exclude data connections from the list.  Refer to following blog post for details about customizing the navigation list.

    You can apply filter

“Product “does not contain “Connection” to filter out the connections from list and save the customized navigation list.
