Is there a way to check the active user sessions that are connected to CRM similar to how we see in Microsoft AX?

Hi,
You can enable Audit User Access, which will let you know when users are logged on.
Go to System Settings -> Auditing Tab -> Check Audit User Access (make sure Start Auditing is checked).
It will take time till you start seeing results, but you can then check them in the Audit Summary View:
Settings -> Auditing -> Audit Summary View
Hope this helps.
Yeah, however it tells you the date and time unless I am being blind :D
I am actually looking if CRM tells you is there is an active session ID for the users.
Hi Rav,
This is the only possibility that you have. CRM does not let you know if someone is currently in an active session.
I am with Aric's answer , this is only the way you can track logon user access history using OOB. Take a look below article.

No there is no supported way in CRM to check the number of logged in users.
