SSRS report to highlight the field value

Hi all,

I want to highlight the field value of the unit is equal to 'g' what expression I can use to perform this actions?

Highlight the unit if equal to 'g', but for some reason I am not receiving the highlights. I am using following expression:

=IIF(Fields!Unit.Value = "g", “Yellow”, Nothing)

    Maybe try using Like instead of = operator.

    Or deploy the report again. Maybe your changes have not been deployed. Clear the caches and try again.

    The expression you wrote seems correct.

    By the way, where are you using the above expression exactly?

    Okay that did not work, I wanted to highlight the "g" if unit is "g". But it instead wrote it as "Yellow". My requirement is to highlight "g" if unit id is "g"

    give a try to correct expression on FontWeight property of textbox

    =iif(Fields!Unit.Value = "g","Bold", "Normal")

    Your expression is correct but you are putting it in the wrong place. Go to the report design right click on the unit field box.

    Then Click Fill and then click the small expression button in front of the "No Color" button

    hilight1.PNGPut your condition expression here and change write "No color" instead of "Nothing" in the else part of your expression.
