Syncing Outlook Contacts to CRM

I'm having trouble finding information on how to sync existing Outlook contacts to CRM as CRM contacts. I am using CamCard and ScanBizCards for our sales team, and they ideally want to scan a business card, scan it, and have it "automatically" ( or close to automatically) sync to CRM as a new contact in the CRM system. I know the Sync with CRM button goes from CRM -> Outlook but how do I get it to work the opposite way as well?

I was reading this post - https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/147539 - but I need more information on the 4th step of that last post. I also heard its possible to have folders that auto sync contacts to CRM, is this true?

Thank you.

Paul

Yep in CRM 2015 - Folders in Outlook can automatically sync to CRM records.

Here's a good blog post on it

I also believe that Outlook settings can force contacts through into CRM.

What specific part of that document is what I should be looking for? I didn't see anything that seemed relevant. Can you write out the instructions?

    Hamzeh,

This link seems to describe how to setup a folder that will track stuff for one contact. I am saying, I need a way to setup a folder, where if I add a contact to it and hit Sync with CRM (or something), it will create a new  contact in CRM using that Outlook contact's information.

There's no way to do folder synch for Contacts right now. To copy a Contact from Outlook to CRM use the "Track" button, or "Set Parent" to link to an Account.

You can also multi-select and use these buttons (only use multi-select and Set Parent to link a bunch of Contacts to the same Account).

    Adam,

That seems to be what I am looking for! Thanks!

    Thanks,

    Paul
