View access for Financial dimensions in the vendTable

Hi, my accounts payables person is requesting view access to the financial dimensions fast tab on the vendtable form. I have tried everything I possibly know of to add the access and I still cant get this to work. The only option I have found is to enable general ledger process which will open up way too much information and edit access. I have even dissected this duty and changed it all to read and it still doesnt work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Amy

Try the following:

1) Create a custom Privilege "My_VendDIM"

2) Add existing EntryPoints VendTable and VendTableDetails with access right "delete"

3) Add VendTable to Permissions/ Forms

4) Add Control "TabFinancialDimensions" with access right "read" to VendTable

5) Create new role "GC_SYS_Testuser

6) Add existing duty "VendVendorMasterInquire" to role

7) Add custom privilege "My_VendDIM" to the role

Try the role and integrate it to your roles.
