Hello,

I’ve enabled the “display product info in user’s language” parameter and the feature in feature management. My user language is set to en-us. When trying to create a purchase order, I am seeing duplicates and multiple languages. Any idea why I am seeing languages that are not my default language?

This is a known issue since version 10.0.37/ PU61 and has continued to persist till version 10.0.44. Would recommend you to raise a MS request. This is a bug in the product. If you see the description under the feature, the purchase order should show the user details in the language they prefer. en-Us the standard language will continue to show up in the products section under Purchase or Sales order line item section.

One of the various reasons for the above issue to occur is also the discrepancy between the D365 user preferred language and the windows system default language. Both need to be the same. Hope this is taken care off too.

Question:

1. Are there any product translations that need to be setup that will display the user's preferred language?

Hi Clazzari,

Which exact version of Dynamics 365 F&O are you using? Did you check if there is a quality update available? In case you don't have customizations for the lookup, this can be a bug and could be fixed in the latest releases.

Does it appear on sales orders or any other form as well?

Can you paste a screenshot of the translation?

Do you have any customization on the PO, Products or so?

I dont think its a normal behaviour.

I think navigate to Accounts Payable > Vendors > All vendors > Vendor record > Language. Make sure it matches your user language (e.g., EN-US) if you want consistency.
