User has system admin rights

I have a user who has full system admin rights without the roles being allocated to the individual. This allows them to see all forms and have access to a Word template which is only configured for the system admin security role. Logged out and back in - no difference, did CTRL +F5 to clear cache and refresh - no difference.. 

Removed all roles from the individual.

Saved user roles.

Added a single role and all system admin rights are back. 

User has never had system admin rights so should not be cached on their machine.  

Set my personal account with the same managed roles as the individual and my account behaves correctly as does another user.

    Thanks for all suggestions, it was being inherited from a team that should not have had system admin rights so to problems sorted at one time. Thanks again.

    I normally use combination of the following XrmToolBox plugins to check what roles and permissions a user has.

    Please see below

    The plugin 'Your user Security - Magnified' will help you to see what permissions a user has on each entity

    You can use the Access Checker to see what permission a user has on a particular record

    and I also found the following plugin very useful to see which roles a user has

    Check security role of all teams that are associated with User.

    Hi,

    It is possible that the user is added to a team which has system admin role. Please check & verify this.
