AX2012R3 WMDP: “A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client” (how to allow sending “<” symbol?)

Dynamics AX2012R3 Warehouse Mobile Device Portal, IIS 8

We need to scan existing barcodes containing "<" symbol.

validateRequest="false" and requestValidationMode="2.0" doesn't help. Currently run out of ideas. Please help!
