DMF date format issue

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with dates when I import General Journals using DMF. I get staging data but DMF changes the places of the days and months in the dates where it is possible. For example if the date is 23.12.2014 DMF import 23.12.2014, but if the date is 05.12.2014 DMF import date like 12.05.2014.

What is the reason for this issue?

    Hi Hristo,

Check the Source data format. This has a field called 'Language locale'. This will also determine how the dates are converted from the source to the staging.

    e.g. en-us will think the format is MM/DD/YYYY. en-gb is assuming DD/MM/YYYY.

Check dmf->setup->source data formats if your locale settings match.

The easiest is is everything matches: AX, Client, Client excel etc.
