Order in lookup field on product from opportunitty.

Hi everyone!

I am working in CRM'15, and I have found a problem with the order in a look up field.

When I am in opportunitty register and I want to add a product, I click in (+) and the click in the loupe. It shows the pull-down menu with the products. These products don't display in order(alphabetical name prodcuts).I try to change all the views that I can, but I can't make success.

The views of element of price list aren't editable and customizable.

Any idea to order the opportunitty product?

Thanks!!!!

    1) Go to the Product lookup view under the Views of your product entity.

(or click on look up and go to "Look for more records" and you will see the view which you are binding with this lookup field).

    2) Edit this view and Configure sorting as per your requirement for this.

Yes all the view wont work because this view is referring to the price list item view.

If you really need this sorting I believe you must create your own script to create your own custom view which you can set the sorting in the fetch xml method.

Kind of effort only do this if worth it in requirements only.

    Thanks

    Thanks Aileen

Can you give more information about fetch xml method?

Surely in this case, it doesn't  make sense but I would know about this problem for next case?

    Thanks in advance.
