Management Reporter 2012 Output Type

Hi,

We installed MR 2012 at a cleint and noticed that the Output type is not available; output name is still there. This forces us to export to the viewer and then send to Excel with the new Excel button on the Viewer ribbon.

How can we change the output to send directly to Excel from Designer?

    With Management Reporter 2012, the report output options changed, as you noted. If you choose a location other than the Report Viewer, such as SharePoint or a network location, a link file will be generated. This file can then be opened in Excel or XPS.  Here is a video with a bit more info:
