Unable to create new contact

We have a partner license, with several apps including Marketing. 

However, I can't seem to create a new contact. I've attached the error message below.

TIA for any advice!

    Hi,

    The main cause of the error is that the owner is assigned with a security role other than System Administrator and has not been given the read-write privileges for the particular entity.

    Hi,

    The user which you used to log in seems to have no privilege to create a contact.

    Have you check the security role of the user?
