Adding a column to a table where it is not visible.

Hi All.

BC recently removed table 5717 (Item Cross Reference) and replaced it with 5777.

When i lookup the table i can see the column Item No. and can apply filters to it, however when i open a item and open the Item Reference table from within the Item card, i can no longer view Item No.

I have tried personalizing my page to view the Item No. but it is not in the selection of available columns. How can i add it so my users can choose to see it?

Thanks

D

    Hi Guy,

All cross references still exist in the item reference table. I can open table 5777 and see the related item number to each cross referenced number, my issue is this table is not visible to all users, only through the item card (related/item/item references). This opens a "version" of table 5777, but is missing the related item number. So long as I'm on the item I need I can see all related cross references, but I can't type a cross reference number and see it's main item number from the same table. Item number is not listed on the table and doesn't appear to be in the customize list of columns.

Hope this is a better explanation

    Thanks

Sorry, ignore my post. I have re-read the original question. Cannot delete my reply on the phone.

Item reference has replaced cross references but seems to do exactly the same thing.

The cross red table remains but the page has been removed.

Unless you have a compelling need to retain use of cross references, I’d suggest the most cost effective and future proof solution is to migrate the cross reference data to the item reference table. That will only take less than half an hour and quite possibly considerably less if you are familiar with configuration packages.

Hi, as Teddy said, if Personalize can't display the fields, you can only use Design.

    Hope the following will help.

If you can't add it using personalization, the only way is to do development. If you don't know to do dev or design, you can ask your partner to do it for you.
