Attributes for two categories hierarchy

Hi! I'm with a question in the D365 F&O.

I would like to use products attributes with two hierarchy categories, one to commerce and another default to procurement.

Although, after I include two product categories in the released products, the screen product attributes show me only the procurement hierarchy attributes.

Can I use attributes to commerce hierarchy?

Thanks

    Hi ViniC,

I think you can, but Commerce supports only a few specific attribute types, and they include: Currency, DateTime, Decimal, Integer, Text, Boolean, Reference.

To assign attribute groups to categories in the Commerce product hierarchy,

    1. Sign in to Commerce headquarters as a merchandising manager.
    2. Go to Retail and Commerce > Products and categories > Commerce product hierarchy.
    3. Select a navigation hierarchy.
    4. Select a category, and then on the Product attribute groups FastTab, add an attribute group.
    5. Select the specified category and verify the attributes for the attribute group by selecting View attributes. Then the attribute group should show the corresponding attributes.

This is working for me. In the below screenshot, the first attribute came from my commerce hierarchy (Attribute groups) and the second one from the Procurement hierarchy (Attribute), couldn't find the attribute groups in the Procurement category form.

One strange observation, sometimes the attributes don't show or update against the product if I access the category form from Product Information management.  Instead, I should access it from

Retail and Commerce >> Products and categories>> Commerce product hierarchy

After include the group of attributes in Retail and Commerce > Products and categories > Commerce product hierarchy, I can work with two hierarchy.

    Thank you guys!
