Hi All,

I hope we're not the only ones but when sales and purchase orders are being archived (automatically) the original created at date disappears. Along with all attachments.

Hope anyone has solutions to get the original created at dates as well as the attachments
I have the same question (0)

Did you test if the issue happens when user manually archive a sales order?

    Hi,

If you want to have actual order created date, you can get it by customization by adding a new field in archive table and pass the order created date to it.

This problem also occurs when done manually.

The system will save the date and time an order is archived, but it doesn’t retain the original order creation date. To keep that information, you’d need to create a custom field.

Also, attachments aren’t automatically added to archives. You could customize the system to do that, but it’s worth considering whether it’s necessary. Since each order can have multiple archived versions, adding the same attachment each time could quickly increase your database size.

As far as I know, there is no attachment functionality included with Archives, that would require customization. Links and Notes are standard features. If you want to keep the attachments, you can use Incoming Document, which is a standard feature.
As for keeping the creation date of the original order, this also needs to be customized.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
