SmartList Builder Security Tasks/Roles Missing

We have SmartList Builder installed and I, as a GP10 PowerUser, can access it.  However when I tried to give access to this tool to others I found that the SmartList builder security tasks do not appear to be assigned to any Security Roles.  Also, when I decided to assign them to a role or create a new role I found that these tasks do not show up in the list of Tasks in the Security Task Setup or Security Role Setup windows.  I see a number of SmartList Builder items in the Unassigned Security Operations Reports.  Surely I am missing something (or something is missing).  Shouldn't roles (or at least tasks) for SmartList Builder be part of the default installation?

Note: This is an upgrade from GP10 and SLB was installed and functioning in version 9.

 Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated.

     The link at the place you reference is broken.  Says that the linked document does not end in ".PDF"

     

    Is there any other way to get this document?  I have been searching for it as well for some time now.

     any way you could guide me on where in Customer source I am having trouble finding it?

    The guide on my system was published in April 2008 and includes Excel Report Builder.  

    Go to CustomerSource and download the latest version of the guide and you should have the new information.

    I am looking at a document on the distribution CD entitled "Microsoft Dynamics GP SmartList Builder User's Guide" (published April 2007).  It only has 9 chapters.  I have not seen a different guide in my CustomerSource searching but I will continue to look.  Anyone know where I should look?

    Are you referring to giving users the ability to create new SmartList objects or view custom SmartList objects?

    You will need to create your own task and role for SLB. The reason for this, according to MS, is that SLB gives users permission to view data that they may not have the need to see.

    Chapter 15 of the SmartList Builder user guide shows you what you need to do.
