Missing Fields after (Update 12) of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Dear All,

Before the (Update 12) was released. We could right click on the column header and click "Choose Columns" to add new fields. This has been replaced by the new personalize feature. The major difference between both methods is that the list of fields to choose from is limited in the new option.

For example, we could add "Shortcut Dimension 3" on General Journals and now we cannot.

Did anyone else face this issue?

    Use Personalize feature to update columns and forms now.

    @rcboiler: I know how to update columns and forms using the personalize feature but the list of fields that are available now do not include the third dimension as opposed to the list of fields that were previously available. If you were able to add the third dimension using the personalize feature then please share a screenshot.

    How do we get to the personalize features?    I noticed the change but don't know how to get to the personalize features.

    Also I would suggest asking a new question separately and not as an addition to an existing one.

    Thanks =)

    Hi Mustufa and all,

    Have you received any feedback on your question or did you find a way to do it? I have same problem and it is odd that one of the key data elements like dimensions cannot be easily added to form/pages as this is one of the primary analytics users want to see.

    @Ruslan: I found a workaround for this. The workaround is using the excel add-in to call the general journal table and the field is visible there.
