Job Queue - All Queue Model Driven App

Posted on by 340

In the customer service hub when I go to service and queue - all queues. I see a list of jobs there. My legacy app use to work that when a job is created it goes in the queues

after converting I don’t see it there, however I do see it in the customer service Hub. How can I implement it where it goes to my model driven app I created ?

    Hi Johnseito,

Users can click the nail on the side of the view to pin this view as the default view.

    Thanks that works.
Is there a way to make a particular queue a default for everyone.

I checked in the internet and the instructions was to go to the profile of the person and select the queue as their default or go to service queue and on top while in the queue click set as default view.

I don’t see set default view.

    Hi Johnseito.

Edit the site map of the new model drive app, change the entity of Queue to Queue Items.

If you see the Queues, you cannot see the Queue Items (Jobs), so we need to change the entity to Queue Items.

I don’t know why you don’t understand me. I get it that customer service hub is working fine.

I am say I built a new model drive app and added queue entity in the site map. But it doesn’t show the same as in the customer service hub when jobs are created, and goes in the queue.

I see it in the customer service hub.

I meant what if I create a new model drive app in the new UCI. How do I get the queue to look like what is in the customer service hub.

Customer service hub is by default. It was already there.

I want it to incorporate in my own app.

    Hi Johnseito,

Did you open the Queue view? So you can only see Queues but not Queue Items. Please note that in the site map of my screenshot in last relpy, I opened Queue Items instead of Queue.

In Customer Service Hub, the Queue of the site map is actually the Queue Item entity.

Why does when you go to queues, you see “All Items”. I don’t see all items.

For your filter and what you have shown.

I see it in the customer service hub but not the new app that I created. And is updating on the customer service hub app but not the model driven app that I created. Please advise ?

    Hi Lu Hao,

sorry I got to you late.
I went to queue and all queue, in the legacy I can see all jobs but since I transitioned to the new UI I don’t see jobs there.

the difference between mine and your filter is that you have queue items, then all items then queue1.

I just have queues, then in the top drop down I could filter to all queues in system views.

I think mine and your criteria may be different.

you have all item and then a square box allow you to choose which queue.

please advice why my filter is wrong and how I can get to your filter ?

    thanks

    Hi Johnseito,

I create a custom entity Job and a new app, I can see that Job records is in the queue of the new app.

Please confirm that the view and filtering of the queue items are correct.
