How to Change Sales Payment apply dates so the Aging removes open payments

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

A user entered 2016 apply dates to payments and credit memos for 2015.  I go to the transaction apply sales document window and change the date to 12/31/2015 and select OK.  When I run the historical aged trial balance - the document is still there.  How do I get the credit memos and payments to clear off the aging report for our auditors who truly only want to see what is open and unpaid as of 12/31/2015?

Just a thought, when you changed the date, did you uncheck the invoices and then check them again?  The date may not stick till you do that.
