Hello Dynamics community, hope you all are well!

I am working with advanced warehousing that uses pick according to FEFO. FEFO states that the pick is done according to the first expired item and if the item has the same expiry date, the pick is done according to the lowest Lot number, if it has the same lot number it will pick according to the first registered item to the warehouse.

Is it possible to pick only according to expiry but if the item has the same expiry, the pick is done according to Bin Ranking?

Your help is much appreciated.

lets say i have bin X and bin Y both contain the same item and same expiry date but different lot no.

bin X has 100 ranking while bin Y has 50 but bin Y has Lot no. 2 while bin X has Lot no. 1

the pick will choose Bin Y which has the lowest rank.

out of box, I don't think it is possible. If you use bin ranking, it will pick from the higher ranking bin even the item has a later expiration date.

I guess you need to manage inventory in a way to put older items in higher ranking bins so they get picked first. Or not use bin ranking or make the ranking no. the same for items tracked with expiration dates.
