Ledger calendar bug

Under GL > Setup > Ledger calendars, users have mentioned that they are unable to select a Period and then change the access level.

e.g. Under Customer column the user makes a selection

The selection occurs and results in a row in the table LedgerPeriodModuleAccessControl. However, the value of LedgerFiscalCalendarPeriod field is zero and not the RecId of the same table as it should be. I've tried changing the property AllowEditOnCreate set to Yes but it doesn't make any difference.

The result is that the selection is not visible when returning to view it.

Also, any change to the same record results in an error message (Cannot create a record in Period permissions (LedgerPeriodModuleAccessControl). Module: , <All>.)

    Hi _MGP,

Do these users have the correct security permissions to edit these details? Can a system administrator change it without the error message? If so, it is related to security settings for these users.

System admin gets same error unfortunately.

Can you share a screenshot of the fiscal calendar including the error message?

The error below is on Ledger calendars when changing the setup of a particular Period for the 2nd time.

Maybe the reason is that there is a unique Index, LedgerFiscalCalendarPeriodIdx?

After the 1st record is created with LedgerFiscalCalendarPeriod = 0, the next "edit" tries to create another record with the same value causing the conflict with the index.

    Hi MGP,

Have a look at LCS issue search. There is a hotfix available for this form. It might solve your issue: "KB 4015520 Cannot update the period status for a Fiscal calendar period"

Thanks Andre. We will investigate and post back findings in due course.
