Print to PDF from Journal

I'm trying to print to PDF from the journal using the Microsoft Print To PDF virtual printer, and it only works on one of my computers - I have no idea why.  On three other machines, when I switch the printer to the Microsoft Print to PDF printer, the preview becomes scrambled & illegible. Is this a known issue?  How can I print to PDF from all of my POS machines?  Thanks-in-advance.

Are you on the current version of RMS (2.02)? What version of Windows are the computers running? Have you tried printing to PDF outside of RMS on all the computers? What about trying a different PDF printer app?  I'm not able to replicate your issue on Windows 10 Professional and RMS version 2.02 with Adobe PDF of FoxIT.

Hey, and thanks for the reply!  All the computers are running Windows 10 and the current version of RMS.  This issue happens with every PDF printer I've tried (CutePDF, Microsoft Print To PDF, etc).  Looks like a not-so-simple fix..

Sorry, I forgot to mention that printing to pdf works outside of RMS.

Try "DoPdf", has a free version to download as well and installed as a printer.

Anything that is printed through it is printed to a .pdf file.

I'm getting the same result, unfortunately.  Seems to be an issue isolated to RMS.  I can print to PDF outside of RMS.

Probably a simple setup issue but there are several gotchas to look out for.

Do you have a reseller who can logon and take a look?

Scrambled view indicates the default driver selected in Windows cannot display the formatted receipt.

With Windows 10 make sure 'Let Windows manage my default printer' is disabled under Settings, Printers & scanners.
