Is CRM SDK available in Javascript?

I was wondering If I could use SDK for code to work with data on Microsoft dynamics 365, is there an SDK present in javascript. The product I work on use REST cals as of now and we would like to move to SDK, but our code is not in C#. So my question is if SDK is available in javascript?

Also we support Dynamics 365, CRM 2016 online and on premise as well. So is same SDK used or multiple SDK will be used for these versions and if they are available in Javascript or not?

Hello,

I'm afraid that SDK is not available in JavaScript. The closest you can check is following - github.com/.../Xrm.Tools.CRMWebAPI but it's opensource thirdparty.

Not an expert and I'm assuming the oData is a kind of throwback to the old SOAP days but, the "SDK" is pretty much a handful of operations -- create, retrieve (&multiple), update, delete and execute -- CRUD and messages. I'm pretty sure the webAPI can handle all these. Your challenge would be to cobble together the variety of messages/requests that can be executed.
