How to link one batche number to multiple items numbers

Hello,

Now we have for each batch number only one item number.

What's the best solution to link a batch number to multiple items numbers?!

Should i create new bases?! or modify existant ones (InventBatch and InventItem)?!

please check attached picture for more details.

    Hi Ramzi,

    Can you explain the scenario in more details? Why do you have the same batch number (one record) for multiple items? It would be possible to enter the same batch number for multiple items, but then you have multiple records in the InventBatch table.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Yes customer want to have many items for same batch, it's mandatory  for him :).

    So it's possible to add same batch (with different item number) inside InventBatch table?!

    Yes, like stated above, you can add records with a different item number and the same batch number.

    Ok thank you :).

    And to avoid displaying duplicated Batches in the grid, could I display GROUP BY query in BatchID grid coloumn?!

    Hi Ramzi,

    I haven't looked in the technical details and I don't know the exact requirements. Probably you would need an additional customization for reporting/presenting the data.

    You can create query and group by batch Id (create new form or report)
