how to obtain the old values and new values of a field on update and assigning those values in 2 different new fields using plugin

I have one field name Phone no. Whenever I change the value of phone no , the old and new value should be displayed in two different fields named "Old Value " and "New Value". I am new to this. I need a plugin code. Thanks in advance.

Hi Rits,

We will use real-time workflow to achieve it.

Go to Settings > Processes, new a workflow, uncheck Run this workflow in the background.

Select Start when to Before. Select Record fields change, click Select to select the phone field.

Then add step Update Record. Set properties.

Inser dynamic value of phone field into the old phone field.

Activate the workflow.

Yes, we will use Pre-Image and Post-Image in the plugin.
