115We are implementing BC involving the Jobs module and purchasing customised materials. There is a need to have the Job dimensions flow through on the Purchase Order Lines and to receive the material in for future consumption.
The Order Planning function for Jobs, locks the Purchase Order Lines to the specific Job, Task and Planning Line requiring immediate consumption but satisfies the dimension requirement. The Planning and Requisition worksheet make future consumption possible but without the automatic Job dimension tagging.
Can the Order Planning function be made more flexible to facilitate immediate or future consumption? Is there an extension for this?
