Hi All
Hope that we are all well. I have a question regarding D365 capability to allow external system calling its API using Basic Authentication.
So, we have a requirements for systems integration between D365 and external system via API and the api gateway can only utilise Basic Authentication whereas usually in D365 we use NTLM authentication.
Is there any way that we can do that? If yes, do you guys mind sharing the sample? perhaps if we can get postman configuration to do so, that would be helpful as well.
Many thanks in advance and look forward for good news.
Regards,
Jonas

Happy Holiday Season
Hi Jonas,
I guess you are referring to onpremise dynamics crm 2016, please see below.
docs.microsoft.com/.../use-connection-strings-xrm-tooling-connect
Post this, you can use client service to perform operations in dynamics :
docs.microsoft.com/.../microsoft.xrm.tooling.connector.crmserviceclient
or is there anyone who knows how to call the api without authentication at all, but just based on allowed IP address of the caller (sort of firewall configuration)..?
