Anyone know how I can add expenses in the PSA module which consists of quantity times price? Say 50 kilometers * price per kilometer? I only find that I can add a single amount in the expense entries.

    Hi PK Andreassen,

    What is the PSA module? Is this something you customized / bought as an add on or do you refer to the Project Management and accounting module?

    Have you tried recording a transaction in a project expense journal?

    Those journals provide you the possibility to record quantities such as 50 kilometers and a cost price per quantity, which will then be used for posting.

    Would be great if you could test and update us here about the outcome.

    Hi! Thanks for replying! PSA as in the Project Service Automation module for CRM (or what was formerly known as CRM :)). Maybe the Project expense journal in AX has this functionality, but the CRM module doesn't. As I understand it, the PSA module for CRM will be the preferred Project tool in the future, so hopefully this will be expanded with more functionality, especially functionality that maybe already exists in AX.

    I do not know much about the CRM module that is part of the new D365 f.O.

    Maybe you might be more successful in the other Dynamics Forums

    Probably have a look there.

    For AX, what you describe is a standard functionality but please check out the other forums as well.
