Hi All

I have worng posted Fixed Asset disposal (Gen journal) against with offset bank account

CR  FA

     -100

DR BANK

100

any idea how to reverse the entries and updated FA status from sold to open

I tried to press (Reverse transaction) button on FA transactions but it say "The ledger transaction type Bank for account 10110020 cannot be reversed".

    Hi Becatcho,

You have to do this reversal manually.

As disposal transactions are usually a bit more complex, I would suggest that you try to do the correction in a demo system first before doing this in your live environment. In order to post the Manual correction you would have to manually update the Status of your value models to open.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Becatcho,

yes, you can open a value model that has for example the status sold

The transactions that have been made remain and you can post some additional adjustments.

The complex thing in your case is reversing the different transaction types that resulted from the sales transactions. If you have not done this manually, do some testing in a demo environment before making some correction postings in live.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
