Payment Journal Description Length not more than 50 Character

In the configuration package on General Journal for Description field can up to 100 characters.

On Sandbox environment the payment journal description is allow up to 100 characters.

But on Production environment it only allow me to enter up to 50 characters, if more than that it encounter the below error.

"The length of the string is 66, but it must be less than or equal to 50 characters. Value: Farid - Transportation Charges for Delivery of Swan Air Compressor"

    Hi,

    Please access to Admin Center as the Sandbox and Production environment can be in different versions (Access to businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../admin to verify.

    I tried to populate this field manually in Payment Journal with the same description (Farid - Transportation Charges for Delivery of Swan Air Compressor) and I was able to Post without any error.

    My tenant is using GB  localisation.

    My PRODUCTION environment is based in version 16.1.12629.12805.

    My Sandbox environment is based in version 16.2.13509.13619.

    My step by step to reproduce was: Access to Payment Journal, Select a Vendor, Process > Apply Entries, Process > Set Applies-to ID (Selecting one invoice) > OK > Bal. Account Type= G/L Account > Bal. Account No = 40100 > Post/Print > Post.

    Thanks for your advice.

    I did the same step, my Production and Sandbox are same version both are  Version: W1 16.2 (Platform 16.0.13440.13997 + Application 16.2.13509.13619) but Sandbox doesn't encounter error.

    That is quite strange. I would suggest you to open a support request to Microsoft through your CSP Partner.

    Hi again,

    If the Sandbox and Production are on same version, there is other difference between them. Please confirm if you have any app installed in only one of the environments?

    Appreciated for your advice.

    I found there was differentiated on the extension - Localization, is it because of the that it caused of the error.
