GL Trial Balance for Open Year returns no data

I have a strange issue that I am dealing with.

When I run Trial Balance Detail for Open Year  2010 the report is returned blank but when I query select * from GL20000 where OPENYEAR =2010 data rows are returned.

I can report on other Open Years except for 2010.

I have researched this problem on Knowledgebase but it seems like it has never occured the closest I came to was KB Article  851013 which applies to version 6.0.

I am on version 8.0 SP5

Any ideas on where  I should strart fishing?

    As last resort I imported data from the old backups since I was pressed for time I dont know what complications will arise from this solution.I will just have to wait and see.

    Richard, I will try out your suggested solution and see what it yields.

    First run Check Links on the Financial files and then Reconcile.  It appears some of the "index" tables may not have been updated correctly.

    Are you certain that the data returned from GL02000 points to valid GL accounts?  The table uses an account index to tie to GL00100.

    Hi Noel,

    Just a shot in the dark but do you have any of the "include" options ticked in the left hand side of the window?

    I can recreate your issue when I don't have "Posting Accounts" ticked on.

    Hi when I run the TB Summary report,it returns account details but the totals are all zero.(0.00)
