1. We create an item
2. We create comment lines for this item
3. We rename the item, by modifying the "Item No."
Comment lines are orphaned now; they remain in the table with the old "Item No." Can anyone confirm if they have the same bug?

I just tested the same scenario in BC 17.10 and BC 18.5 and in both versions the comments are kept, because the "No." field on the Comments Line is taking the renamed Item No. as well:
I cannot repro, in which CU are you testing this behavior?
If it happened, it has been fixed already.

I'm trying to figure out, when are the comment lines renamed as well. This is the OnRename trigger in the item table for BC18 (Extracted from Base App)
I would like to find out where in Base App is the fix, so I can patch our installation until an upgrade is planned with our project lead
