Business Process Flow 'XOR' logic using condition flow operator

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear experts!

I’ve stuck with the Business Process Flow Condition Creating.

Problem: Customer wants to buy a car and Seller offers him 1 of the 3 available colors: red, green or blue.

I have got several questions:

  1. What ‘Data Field’ on the ‘Opportunity’ stage I should use to fit the Condition flow?
  2. What way I can create 3 color cases? In other words, how I can implement ‘XOR’ logic?
  3. Is it necessary to use ‘No’ flow?

I‘ve already read the Dynamics 365 Customization Guide, but have not find the solution yet.

Could you please help me to solve the problem or suggest the link to the solution?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hello,

For your particular scenario (questions 1& 2)  i think you could create an OptionSet with 3 values and use that.

To find out more about optionsets you can use this link: docs.microsoft.com/.../create-edit-global-option-sets

This refers to Global OptionSets, however you can also create local ones

Question 3 i'm afraid i didn't quite understand it. Could you please expand on that?

    Hope this helps,

    Radu
