Broken Contract Notes Button after Upgrade

We recently upgraded from GP 10 to GP 2010.  We've now discovered that in Service Call Management, if you click on the notes button by Contract, nothing happens.  If you hover over any notes field, it gives the floating message, "Click here to view or add notes for...", but that doesn't float above the contract notes...

Google is turning up nothing.  Any thoughts, anyone?

Thanks,

Phillip

    Hi Phillip,

Does this happen on every workstation and on the server?

First thing I would look at is the settings in the client dex.ini file and make sure it is pointing to the correct network share for the notes.

    Hey Kirk,

Thanks for the reply.  This isn't actually attachments, but the note field itself.  From what I've seen the dex.ini has a notes folder for attachments applied to notes.  What I am trying to get to open is the contract notes in the SY03900 table.

From "Service Call Entry/Update" clicking on the note button (next to contract) does nothing, it doesn't even add any lines in the dexsql.log file.  All other note buttons on that window (there are 6 total) work fine.  The notes open and dexsql.log get's appended with the SQL commands.

If I click on the contract to open it in the "Contract Entry" window, I can click on the note button there and the note will open.

Now that seems like a good work-around but, that button SHOULD work and our users aren't happy with getting at the notes this way... they want there button back.

Sorry also meant to mention that yes this seems to be happening on all stations and happens with both the test sql server and production server, so it seems like it is a client issue.
