Hi! I was wondering what the effect is by entering data into the Quick WIP window on a manufacturing order? In other words, if the routing is set up and the MO uses that data to calculate labor and cost, will the output be altered by entering data into Quick WIP? Thanks! Jason

Do you mean Quick MO? Yes the data in BOMs and Routers are used on Quick MOs. Everything is back flushed. GL Transactions will be seen that issues materials, Labor, and machine costs to WIP and then consumes from WIP to finished goods and, if you are using Standard Costs and there are differences, to the Variance Accounts.
