Modeling with keyframe animation works well in the guide PC app, but does not move at all in the HoloLens guide app. Why not?

Please give me an answer.

Thank you.

The animations will work in the HoloLens app, but the app is a little finicky about the export settings used to export the animation.  Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact settings I have used in the past.  I was using Blender and I am not an experienced animator so it was a lot of trial and error.

Checkout this documentation on how to use animation takes to load specific animations from a model on a given step in a guide: docs.microsoft.com/.../hololens-app-animations

I already know about this option. The problem is that it works in the preview in the pc app, but when I put the 3d model in the HoloLens app, it doesn't move. thank you for your reply.

Usually, animation of moving the entire mesh of 3d model works well in PC and HoloLens app, but shape key animation that moves part of vertices of 3d mesh is a problem. It works well in the pc app and the Windows 3D viewer, but only in the HoloLens app. I'm also using Blender, and it's the same if I export various options. It's really frustrating.

    Hi junwoo,

Have you checked if the properties of the animation are restricted.

Animations can't be longer than 20 minutes and can't contain more than 36,000 keyframes (20 mins at 30 FPS). Additionally when using morph target-based animations don't exceed 8192 morph target vertices or less. Exceeding these counts will cause the animated asset to be unsupported in the Windows Mixed Reality home.

After seeing your answer, I tested again and made a 3d modeling of two simple boxes in the blender and made one box move up and down from 0 to 90 frames with easy shape keys animation. However, as usual, it works with the guide pc app and the Windows 3d viewer, but it doesn't work with the hololens app.
