Hi I'm after a download of

AX 2012 Cumulative Update 5 - it's not on any MS sites as AX2012has ended in mainstream support.

it appears on partnersource search

but there's no file to download

most of the links on the HF page give

We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.

This hotfix is no longer available

I've logged a call with MS but they can't locate the file either.

Anyone out there got a copy on an old HDD?

Hi Jason,

What exactly was this hotfix about? Anyway, as you are running on an unsupported version, I would suggest to look for options to upgrade to Dynamics 365 or AX2012R3. Note that AX2012R3 might also get into an end of support situation.

Hello Jason,

What you can try is contacting your local MS office / MS support and ask if they still have access to this old hotfix.

As Andre mentioned, this would however be at best a temporary solution compared to an upgrade to a newer AX2012 or D365FO version.

Hi Andre thanks for the reply - it's a short term solution so that the Server Operating System can be upgraded to a supported version and then the plan is in a couple of years to migrate up to D365FO.

The system has a lot of bespoke work and CU5 is the best fit / least amount of cost for an interim solution.

I've asked Microsoft for the CU but it is no longer available :( hence my question to the forum in the hope that someone has it sored away somewhere.

Hi Ludwig thanks for the reply - I did log a call via LCS requesting the CU but they couldn't see it / find it (it is from 2013).

As I replied to Andre - it's a heavily bespoke system and we are looking at the cheapest solution to keep their OS supported before the major D365 upgrade comes about in a couple of years.
