Is there a way to make certain fields "required" in Business Portal? (Requisitions for Dynamics GP)

Here's a follow-up to our question: the problem is that this has to do with Purchase Requisitions in Business Portal for Dynamics GP. Once the user enters the "header" information, there is a detail line pop-up that is completed for each line item. There is not a way to edit that pop-up window within the BP standard menus... it's as if it needs to be modified behind-the-scenes, perhaps with some programming tools. All we need to do is make 2 fields required. Any suggestions or direction on how to proceed?
