Item values in specific bin

Hello Experts,
I know that this topic has already been discussed several times on the community, but I still haven't found a clear answer.
Is it possible to generate an inventory value for a given bin? Let's say I have an XYZ warehouse with bins XYZ-1, XYZ-2, ( different unit cost for each bin, not average/standard cost for items in bins).
XYZ-1 has item 01 with cost 10 from purchase,
XYZ-2 has item 01 with cost 20 from purchase,
XYZ-1 has item 01 with cost 30 from purchase.
The average cost is  20, but it doesn't fit for bin XYZ-1 when I multiply 1x20 because correct value for this bin is 10.

Can I check what value I have on a specific bin taking into account the appropriate costs from purchase (value entry)?
I know that it is really hard because on item ledger entries and value entries I don't have Bin, and on warehouse entries I don't have value and the best choice is to set bins as locations and assign to them specific g/l accounts but maybe one of you had the same problem and found solution without having separete locations for every bin?
If the answer is no - do you have experience with customization in this area?

Thank you in advance!

As far as I know its not possible out of the box. You would have to manually calculate it or create something custom. But what is your item costing method? Is it average, standard, FIFO, etc?

you could use the below report, add filters as needed to find your answer

The bin filter on the Inventory Valuation report does not work.

Hi, I think you could try filtering on the Warehouse Entries page.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately the Warehouse Entries do not display values/amounts for item transactions.

No, it does not. The report header displays the filters applied, but the lines do not take into consideration the bin. The two quantities you have of 707 and 100 can be in any bin or not even in a bin, and the report will still display them, regardless of your bin filter.

If you would like, you can transfer your two items to another bin, and run the report with the same settings. You will get the same result.
