AX2012 RTM to AX2012R3 CU10 in-place upgrade

Hi all,

A quick question regarding an in-place upgrade scenario. The first step is to divide the RTM DB with the Dynamics AX2012R3 Setup.

Do I need to launch this first step directly with a slipstreamed package of the CU10 or do I need to run the R3 setup without CU10 ?

I have read about a step in R3CU10 upgrade which consists of launching an exe file to upgrade OriginId. After reading this article, it seems to be only applicable when you come from an R2, anyone can confirm this ?

Thanks a lot !

    To answer my own question:

    - Yes you can launch directly the setup with CU10 slipstreamed.

    - I have done the step with the ID file technet.microsoft.com/.../mt674913.aspx
