I’m experimenting with Business Central (DE Version 24.5) and have created a custom environment with personalized report layouts, including:
- Sales - Quote (1304)
- Sales - Confirmation (1305)
- Sales - Invoice (1306)
- Purchase - Order (1322)
I set the company logo under "Company Information," and the custom layouts are copies of the standard formats with minor design adjustments (no logic was changed). I also verified that the settings specify these custom layouts as the active reports.
The issue: The company logo does not appear in the custom reports for 'Order Confirmation' and 'Sales Quote'.
To troubleshoot, I tried generating these reports using the standard layouts provided by Business Central and encountered the same issue for these specific reports.
Notably, these reports work correctly in the same sandbox environment, but selecting a different company-- the Microsoft provided "CRONUS" example company. Therefore I suspect the issue may be tied to the specific company settings.
I have a theory that each "company" can define its own rules for what a report can or should include, which might result in certain fields not being populated under specific conditions. This might explain why the logo and some fields aren’t appearing in certain cases. Can someone point me to specific setting/configuration item that is relevant here?
