Hi,

Our customer wants a lot of customization on Invoice report. So there are new datasources and after main body is new tablix which is sometimes printed sometimes not, depends on parameter.

The problem is, when I do print and the report body is big enough exactly for one page, hidden tablix exceed that size so it will print blank page just with header and footer.

Does anybody have solution for this?

Just example. I have string after hidden tablix and I definitely dont want it on second page. Actualy I dont want second page at all at that example.

Consume white spaces and this kind of tricks dont work.

where is your 'new tablix'.?

After body and before footer? i.e. actually inside body

after body but inside footer? i.e. inside footer

Assume that tablix belong to different data sources!!

Why dont you add the "Test String after hidden tablix" in the footer of tablix and hide all the other rows ...

Or

Create a tablix with no details row.

Now add another row to this. Make sure it has entire body width and only one column. You have 2 rows with only 1 column now.

Copy your tablix into first row. Set the same hidden exression on row of the parent

Now copy paste you test string in second row .

I have one main report on that i have tablix when there are many rows in tablix it showing on same page because i have set Keeptogether=True of Tablix. If i add rectangle with Subreport after tablix and set Hidden=True it is showing the Blank page after Tablix records page. Actually i hide that rectangle if subreport don't have data.Even i set Rectangle Hidden=True it is not hidding the blank page.

Please suggest

Add expression on the Hidden property of your tablix and use the countrows method to check if the resport's dataset is empty.

I have already added that one.Even if rectangle is hidden its showing blank page that's my issue

Solved this problem by minimize all elements sizes. It works but it is not good for furhter customizations becuase you have to maximize that for work with that.
