A report of who does not have said product.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We are an organization that has memberships and subscriptions.

I would like to create a list of accounts or contacts who do not have a said membership. This could even be who has not purchased a said product.

In basic theory, you can't show who do not have a membership if there is not a record of that membership. There may be some who have not purchased anything so they would have no records of a membership/subscription/product.

Is there a way, maybe in BI, to create a list of everyone who does not have said membership/subscription/product?

Thanks,

Andrew

Then give one more filter conditions to narrow down the customer you looking for by passing the membership as your parameter

    Syed,

The only problem with this is the Account/Contact may have other memberships than the one I am looking for.

In Access I can have two tables, one of Accounts and the second of the membership I am wanting to know who does not have. THen I can run a query of who don't match.

You can do the following -

    1. Set a custom roll-up field on the Account / Contact form, call it # of Subscriptions

    2. Set the roll-up field to add all subscriptions

    3. Place the field on the form and views.

Now you can see the Accounts or Contacts with 0 subscriptions.

Note - The auto update of roll-up field will probably work once a day so you may not see the # of subscriptions updated instantly.

    Hope this helps.
